Upcoming Reading
October 10, 2007
I’m through with the reading component of my first D.Min. course. The remaining class section will be dealing mostly with case studies. So…I’ve decided I should order some other books to give me something to read in the meantime. Here are the next books I’m looking forward to receiving from Amazon.com.

Philosphy & Theology by John Caputo, Who’s Afraid of Postmodernism: Taking Derrida, Lyotard, and Foucault to Church by James K.A. Smith, and The Mission of God: Unlocking the Bible’s Grand Narrative by Christopher J.H. Wright.

I don’t have time to not read! haha You’d have plenty of time if you didn’t read the Oklahoman – all of the logical inconsistencies slow a person down!

If you run out of books, you die.
Keep it up, Matt.
I’ll be interested in your thoughts on the Caputo book. I read it in tandem with Abraham’s Waking from Doctrinal Amnesia. Talk about an interesting pair.

Will you be anywhere close to Oklahoma City around Thanksgiving? I would really like to see you.

Ummm…don’t know if I’ll be up there. You should come down to Q-town. We’ll put a sleeping bag in the garage. In fact, we’ll even let you sleep in it.
